Christine Zohrabians created Fancy That! Events with those elements in mind and a heart for expressing the cultural traditions and unique love stories of her clients. After graduating from Pepperdine University with degrees in Sociology and a Masters in Intercultural Communications, Christine spent several years in the entertainment industry, working with MTV Networks and Sony Motion Pictures before stepping into the events world where she freelanced with the most prestigious event production companies in Los Angeles.

In 2006, drawn by a desire to create unforgettable weddings and perfect personal expressions, Christine founded Fancy That! Her reputation has quickly grown as one of the most sought after specialists in cultural weddings in the Los Angeles market with her work being featured on WEtv’s Platinum Weddings, InStyle, Style Me Pretty, Inside Weddings, Beverly Hills Lifestyle, People Magazine and countless other magazines, special events blogs and television programs. Her name can be found on the preferred vendor list at such prestigious venues as The St. Regis Monarch Beach, Terranea Resort, Hotel Bel Air, Shutters on the Beach, Vibiana and the Langham Huntington Hotel, Pasadena.

Christine is also the founder and producer of two annual luxury bridal events, I Do! An Event for the Stylish Bride and Engaged!. These bridal events bring together thousands of brides with the most reputable vendors in Southern California and have been acclaimed as the must attend wedding industry events in Los Angeles.

The inexpressibly beautiful weddings Christine creates for her clients honor their culture, traditions and individuality, but most of all, their love.

The best events begin as a marriage between the client and the planner best suited for their personality, style and preferences – this is the key element in beginning any successful partnership.

Anita Haftavani
Event Manager

Anita Haftavani joined the Fancy That! Events team early 2014 with a contagious enthusiasm for the event planning world.  Anita has earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Design & Merchandising in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where she worked for celebrity fashion stylists throughout her schooling. Upon receiving her degree, she realized that she was meant to be in the wedding industry.

Her impressive resume includes assisting and working with several top wedding professionals and industry leaders. As the executive assistant to a celebrity florist, and a staff member for a Los Angeles bridal boutique, Anita offers knowledge of the various aspects of event planning.

As a creative and efficient event coordinator, Anita will make sure  to keep her clients’ to-do lists as short as possible, and take the initiative to handle any and all responsibilities for the big day! Aside from her professionalism and organization skills, she has always had a keen eye for style and trends. Her love for fashion definitely fuels her passion for event design.

We construct an event by providing honest advice and appropriate direction. Through employing your ideas, we create the cooperative vision of all those involved to produce a final, tangible product. The elements of location, food, photography, decor and music all combine to create the collective moment.     My venue requires us to hire a “day of coordinator” but i do not see that option under services?

    In order to produce a seamless event, we recommend our “coordination services.” In order to effectively coordinate a wedding day, we require our staff to get to know the client and their event from the inside out. We assist with fine tuning all the planning details and  strategically planning out the day of so that it is perfect from start to finish!
